ARRIVAL IN SÃO FRANCISCO DE PAULA-A region originally inhabited by the Caáguas Indians of the Coroados tribes. With their extinction, it became a route for the drovers who traveled from RGS to São Paulo. Its name originated from the donation made by Pedro da Silva Chaves, militia captain of the Campos de Cima da Serra, who donated this area for the creation of a settlement, which became property of the Church, of which his son was the 1st Priest in 1762. He named the Church after his patron saint, São Francisco de Paula, and the name initially adopted for the Region was São Francisco da Serra de Cima. Today it is known for its beautiful waterfalls and lovely green fields.

MONUMENTO AO TROPEIRO –Photo Stop: A tribute to those who passed through here driving animals bound for Southeastern Brazil, on the Rota dos Tropeiros. It is also a recognition of the saga that contributed to the beginnings of the settlement of São Francisco de Paula. The work was created in 2012 by visual artist Edmilson Duarte Almeida.

Passengers are responsible for presenting an ID document at boarding; those who do not carry one will not be allowed to board and no amounts will be refunded by the Contractor

Minors under 16 unaccompanied by their legal guardians may only board and participate with an authorization in accordance with Resolution No. 295/2019-CNJ –Notarized (the company is not responsible for minors)     

Children in the vehicle count as one passenger regardless of age 

The consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the vehicles is prohibited

To guarantee the age-based discounts at the park, it is necessary to carry the documents on the day of the trip; if passengers do not carry the proper documents, they are responsible for the price difference charged by the park.
