ITINERARY 03-TAINHAS, CAMBARÁ DO SUL -05 WATERFALLS-JANUARY 10, 2026

LET’S ESCAPE THE SWELTERING HEAT

06:00 in the morning, boarding at LARGO DA EPATUR

We will head toward the Serra Gaúcha

The first stop will be made 150 km from POA ,we will stop in the municipality of Tainhas to “ FILL OUR BELLIES” at Café Tainhas –(Not included)

After breakfast, we will continue to CAMBARÁ DO SUL, and on arrival we will do a 01:00-hour round-trip trail to a LOOKOUT THAT IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST HILLS IN THE REGION, from where you can see the whole town. Afterwards we will set off for our FIRST WATERFALL

The CASCATA DO ALTAR gets this name because of its unusual shape. THE WATER PLUNGES OVER A ROCK THAT RESEMBLES THE ALTAR OF A RELIGIOUS TEMPLE . Before we reach this beautiful formation, we will walk a trail amid numerous CENTURY-OLD XAXIM SPECIMENS.

THE SECOND WATERFALL, NAMED CORUCACAS, is inside the HOTEL FAZENDA of the same name. To reach it, the walk takes around 01:00 hour. At the farm we can choose to RENT HORSES (Not Included). The WATERFALL flows into a natural pool , where in summer we can take an invigorating swim.

Afterwards we will have a TRAIL SNACK (Included).

THE THIRD WATERFALL is called TIO FRANCA, located 3km from CAMBARÁ DO SUL, where the ARROIO CAMPO BOM plunges off a rock to form one of the many waterfalls in the region. At this WATERFALL YOU CAN TAKE WONDERFUL SWIMS.

THE FOURTH WATERFALL is at LAGEADO DA MARGARIDAS, 12 km from CAMBARÁ DO SUL, and its trail takes 01:00 hour. This WATERFALL IS FORMED BY THE RIO CAMISAS. At this point the RIVER spreads over a LARGE ROCK BED, more than 100 meters long, forming shallow NATURAL POOLS amid RAPIDS AND STONE SLABS in a unique spot

THE FIFTH AND LAST WATERFALL to be visited is the CACHOEIRA DOS VENÂNCIOS, and its trail lasts 01:00 hour. It is 23 km from CAMBARÁ DO SUL, on the border of the MUNICIPALITY OF JAQUIRANA, and is considered one of the most beautiful in the region. Formed by the RIO CAMISAS , it has 04 WATERFALLS of different heights, with CRYSTAL-CLEAR, LIMPID WATERS ALLOWING RELAXING SWIMS AND NATURAL MASSAGES.

Return to POA at the end of the day to the same boarding point.

NOTE:

Transportation will be provided to the Tour and Trail Sites according to the itinerary  

The boarding point will be the same as the drop-off point on arrival     

Upon confirmation, we need, up to 03 days before the chosen date, the full names and RG numbers with the issuing agency of the pax for the Travel List ; for children without an RG, a copy of the birth certificate must be sent. Passengers must carry the submitted documents on the date of the trip.    

Pax are responsible for presenting a document at boarding; if they do not carry it, they will not be allowed to board and there will be no refund by the Contractor

Minors under 16 unaccompanied by their legal guardians may only board and participate with an authorization in accordance with Resolution No. 295/2019-CNJ –Notarized (the company is not responsible for minors)     

Children in the vehicle count as one passenger regardless of age 

The consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the vehicles is prohibited

To guarantee the age-based discounts at the park, it is necessary to carry the documents on the day of the trip , if the pax do not carry the proper documents, they are responsible for the price difference to be charged by the park. 

THE COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE EVENT IF THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS REQUIRED TO OPERATE IT IS NOT REACHED! IN THIS CASE, THE AMOUNTS WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL!
